First Disconnect of Tunnel Boring Machine at Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm Project
One of the drills was carried out in extremely difficult conditions in the inter-tidal region in the Severn Estuary. The work was carried out in a spirit of cooperation and teamwork, with a Stockton Director resident on site during the later stages.
Despite challenging geology comprising extremely hard fissured quartz sandstone, the professional and proactive site team ensured that through innovative engineering solutions, the works were completed without incident.
